As a non-profit ‘Steward-owned’ will accelerate the movement towards more steward-ownership in Belgium.

We are a guide for anyone on their way to explore steward-ownership and embedding the two core principles in their legal DNA: self-determination and profit serves mission. As a fieldbuilder, we make this new kind of ownership accessible for everyone. We research and share all our expertise to lower barriers and strengthen the knowledge hub.

We are paving the way!
All our activities address the main hurdles on the way to steward-ownership in Belgium: lack of information, flag-ships, stories & narratives; complex legal implementation; lack of aligned capital.

A hilly landscape illustrates the 3 main hurdles on the way to steward ownership: lack of information, complex legal implementation and lack of aligned capital.
The 3 hills of a landscape are lowered illustrating that the activities of Steward-owned are paving the way for a purpose-driven ownership.

“It always seems impossible, until it’s done.”

With steward-ownership gaining traction globally, it was time to propel the Belgian chapter.

A key to our approach in Belgium was choosing to collaborate with partners and ambassadors. These organizations actively contribute to and support the movement.

Because we all believe that a business can be a prototype of the world you want to live in.

Since we launched 'Steward-owned' in Belgium similar field-building organizations have been initiated, across different continents. It’s clear: we are part of a global movement, led by Purpose Economy, our German partner.
